Todd Tournillon, CPA

Todd Tournillon, CPA joined RICHARD CPAS in 2018 and has over 20 years of professional accounting and auditing experience. After graduation from UNO, Todd worked for approximately 2 ½ years in industry for a large medical institution recording transactions and performing account reconciliations. Todd joined a large regional firm in January 2000 and was named a Director in 2007. With over 18 years of public accounting experience with a large regional firm, Todd’s background includes audits and reviews of a variety of clients, including government, non-profit, trusts, employee benefit plans, oilfield services, professional service firms, and construction. Many of the clients that Todd has previously worked with have audits in accordance with Government Auditing Standards. Todd has significant experience in working with the Louisiana Legislative Auditors office and has performed the statewide agreed upon procedures engagements which are required by the Louisiana Legislative Auditor.

Todd has also served as outsourced Chief Financial Officer/Comptroller for several clients throughout 2018 and into 2019. This experience provided Todd insight and knowledge to better understand the roles and responsibilities of management as well as the daily operations of supervising an accounting team, processing payables, payroll and recording transactions in the general ledger.

In addition, Todd serves as a volunteer Board Member for several non-profit organizations, which provides him first-hand insight and knowledge of the issues and challenges facing public sector organizations. This knowledge assists RICHARD CPAS in providing quality valued added service to each of our clients.
