About Joey

Joey Richard is the Managing Member of RICHARD CPAS, LLC. His experience has focused on attest and assurance engagements for entities in a variety of industries including significant service to not-for-profit entities, distribution, professional services, governmental entities, financial institutions, and healthcare providers. His most recent experience prior to founding RICHARD CPAS has been as a Chief Financial Officer of a large community bank. Prior to that he served over 40 years in public accounting, over 30 years as an audit partner. He was an audit director and the office managing director for the New Orleans office of the largest public accounting firm in Louisiana. Joey was a Partner with a national accounting firm, where he served as an audit partner for the New Orleans/Baton Rouge offices. Since the beginning of his career, Joey has worked with publicly traded and large private companies. Over his 40+ year career. Joey has served as a technical resource, assisting clients and in income tax accounting, stock compensation accounting, derivative accounting, business combination accounting and other similar complex accounting areas.

Joey has served clients in forensic and litigation support roles, including expert witness and testimony.
